Frequently Asked Questions
How can I use Atrium now?
Atrium has been in use by the BRIT Andes to Amazon Biodiversity Program since August 15, 2005. You can see the AABP Atrium at http://atrium.andesamazon.org. Many features are available without a user account but if you would like to be able to take advantage of more advanced features, you must create a free account. There are many features for data management, annotations and editing that are not available with the basic account so if you would like to see these features, please contact Jason Best.
Is Atrium open source software?
Atrium is not currently open source, but we intend to make components of the platform open source in the future. Our goal is to make the tools and technologies of Atrium available to the greatest number of organizations and individuals. If you have inquiries about using Atrium at your institution, please contact Amanda Neill or if you would like further information about our open source strategy, please contact Jason Best.
How can my organization use Atrium for our own data?
You don't have to wait for us to make Atrium open source! We are eager to discuss with you how we can help your organization take advantage of the many features of Atrium that can help you in the management and sharing of your biodiversity data. If you would like further information about how our organizations can collaborate, please contact Amanda Neill.
